a really great idea here, but why are you limiting it to twitter, or even tying it to twitter. you could potentially do the same thing for any social or even email service.

absolutely agree! Twitter was just an easy API that we could reasonably tackle in a few days. We've spent less than 100 hours developing this at this point, so the goal was just proof of concept. Click-to-call links should be universally accessible and easily crated - that's the core our mission.

Cool! We are already using Twilio for an experimental two step verification process (e-mail and phone) to force leads. And we're also trying phone numbers on sign riders for automated messages about price and home information (and we capture caller id for a lead).

I guess the uses for twilio never ends.
